What Flural is
Flural is a PDF and EPUB reader that can translate your documents and read them aloud, including pages you capture with your camera.
Your documents
You are responsible for the legality of the documents you open in Flural. Don't use it to read, translate or listen to material you don't have the right to access.
Digital rights management
Flural opens PDFs and EPUBs without DRM protection. It cannot open DRM-protected books, including protected titles from Kindle, Google Play, or Kobo, and does not remove DRM.
Translations can be wrong
Translations and text recognition can make mistakes. Use the original as your reference: Original shows the PDF layout, and a long-press on a paragraph in Flow lets you check the source text.
Do not rely on a translation alone for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.
Flural Cloud subscriptions
Flural Cloud is offered as auto-renewing monthly subscriptions sold through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Each plan renews automatically every month at the price shown unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings. Monthly credits expire at the end of each billing period. A one-time gift of trial credits may be offered once per device. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.
Credits are used by translation, chapter summaries and questions sent to Flural Cloud. We may change plans and prices for future periods; the App Store will tell you before a price change applies to you.
Fair use of Flural Cloud
Do not bypass credit limits or device checks, send automated traffic, resell access, or process material you have no right to use. We may suspend access for these activities.
Third-party content
The Free Library opens websites run by others, such as Project Gutenberg and Internet Archive. Their books and sites are governed by their own licences and terms.
Downloadable voices are open-source models published by third parties under their own licences. On-device translation is provided by Apple.
Apple's licence terms
The app is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, together with these terms. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support.
No warranty
Flural is provided as-is, without warranty, to the extent the law where you live allows. To that same extent, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use.
Changes
These terms may change in a future update; the date at the top of this page shows when. Continuing to use Flural after an update means you accept the revised terms.
